MHSK & Partners is a Pakistan-based legal practice providing advice and representation throughout Pakistan, together with cross-border transaction support, commercial documentation, regulatory and policy consultancy, dispute strategy, arbitration and mediation, and litigation support.
Advocacy, representation, litigation management and court filings in Pakistan are undertaken by advocates enrolled with the relevant Provincial Bar Council and entitled to practise before the applicable court or tribunal.
The material on this website is general information only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice on the facts, documents, law, forum and timing of a particular matter.
Accessing or using the website, corresponding with the Firm, or submitting a consultation request does not create an advocate–client relationship. An engagement arises only when the Firm has completed any required conflict, jurisdiction and scope review and the Firm and client have confirmed the engagement in writing through an authorised engagement letter or retainer agreement.
Unless an engagement is confirmed in writing, the Firm has not accepted responsibility for a matter, filing, limitation period, hearing, deadline or other time-sensitive step.
The Firm may lead and coordinate multi-jurisdictional mandates. Where an instruction requires advice on the domestic law of another jurisdiction, a locally reserved legal activity, a regulatory filing or rights of audience, the relevant work will be undertaken, reviewed or led by appropriately authorised local counsel.
Within the scope agreed in writing, MHSK & Partners takes responsibility for identifying a suitable subject-matter practitioner or firm with demonstrable relevant experience through its international professional network. The respective scope and responsibility of MHSK & Partners and any local counsel will be identified in the applicable engagement terms.
MHSK & Partners is not represented as a law firm authorised or regulated in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada or United Arab Emirates unless expressly stated in relation to a specifically identified practitioner or affiliated practice.
Where local counsel, a specialist practitioner or an affiliated practice is required, the engagement terms will identify whether that professional is instructed directly by the client or coordinated by the Firm. Unless expressly stated in writing, independent local counsel and affiliated practices are separate legal practices responsible for the work allocated to them.
References to a strategic partner, international associate, desk or professional network describe the Firm's delivery arrangements. They do not, without express written confirmation, create a partnership, agency, joint venture or shared regulatory authorisation between separate practices.
An initial enquiry is used only to assess conflicts, jurisdiction, scope and whether the Firm is able to accept the instruction. Confidentiality and legal professional privilege depend on the applicable law, circumstances, purpose and participants; submitting an enquiry does not by itself establish privilege.
Please do not send confidential, privileged, highly sensitive, proprietary or incriminating documents through the website form or ordinary business email before the Firm confirms an appropriate channel and any required confidentiality arrangements. Electronic communications may involve service providers and internet infrastructure as explained in our Privacy & Cookies Statement.
If a matter involves an imminent limitation period, filing date, hearing or other deadline, the prospective client remains responsible for protecting that position unless and until the Firm expressly accepts responsibility for it in writing.
Experience descriptions reflect closed, ongoing and advisory matters. Ongoing work and pending results are identified where relevant. The narratives are generalised and anonymised to protect client confidentiality; public case numbers are retained where appropriate. They illustrate the nature of work undertaken and do not guarantee a similar outcome in any other matter.
